Fast Food Ban

Oh, I forgot to mention. I made a solemn vow on the twenty-first of February, 2007, not to eat any fast food for a year.
Unfortunately, I have already run into a little problem. I'm not sure what exactly constitutes fast food. When I decided to quit eating it, I was thinking about Wendy's and Taco Bell, because those are the two places near the game store we go to on Saturdays. But what about Ledo's pizza, near school? Is that fast food? My friend asked me to go there with him today, and I said no because my dad was coming to see me for a quick lunch, but on another day- would my vow allow me to eat there? And what about Einstein Bagels? It's cheap-ish and it has a counter you order and pay at before you sit down with your food. Is that how we're defining fast food places? Any food-procurement location where 1 person can eat for 10 dollars or less that has no waiters? Because that would include cafes. Am I allowed to define "fast food" as all places I don't like? Wouldn't that sort of be cheating?
Philip hasn't been very optimistic about this, and I don't know why. With the exception of frosties at Wendy's, I don't actually like fast food. In fact, I prety much hate it. Well, I guess I like Popeye's, but that's so unhealthy that I'm sure I'll be better off without it. I stopped eating McDonalds years ago. I put a ban on Burger King ages ago.
Those burgers are SO high calorie, and so high fat, and they're not even good. I can buy lean beed and whole wheat buns and grill my own thick, juicy burgers that have a quarter of the calories of fast food burgers. And then you can put big slices of fresh tomato on them, you don't have to eat wet, wimpy, fast food tomato product. Fresh lettuce, too, not the rejected Iguana food they use at those places.
Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am hereby not eating fast food for one whole year, with the hope that by the end of that year I'll have new habits and be happier without it permanently. This is just the first step in what will be my larger campaign to create room in my life for all the things I Love by getting rid of the stuff I don't like.
