Tonight didn't go the way I expected, but it was still pretty good. I got dressed up for Philip because we went on a date (an actual DATE!) and it was kind of nice. I had a dress, and heels, and everything. But we had to walk there, and it was cold outside, and I can barely stand around in heels... so basically, I ended up just changing into jeans and a t shirt. But the lecture was interesting, and we had dinner aftwerwards, which was good. And really, my self esteem has basically been in a big self-hating hole since yesterday anyway. I felt neurotic enough in jeans. I probably would have driven myself crazy in a dress, feeling like a huge joke.
We couldn't put my new PC together either, even though I have all the components, because I didn't have a screwdriver that was the right size. We had a good time talking, though, and I will see him tomorrow. So I guess that's ok. I needed to do some last minute homework tonight anyway. (I'm done. It took way less time than I thought).
